Chase master Virat Kohli smashed a scintillating unbeaten 82 while skipper Faf du Plessis dazzled with a 43-ball 73 as Royal Challengers Bangalore blew away five-time champions Mumbai Indians by 8 wickets in their season opener in Bangalore. The opening duo of Kohli and du Plessis was on demolition job as they made a mockery of the 172-run target. Both added a massive 148-run stand for the first wicket as Bangalore cruised to the victory target with 22 balls to spare.
