After 20 agonising hours of being trapped under the debris following the Bhiwandi building crash, labourer Sunil Pisal (32) was safely rescued on Sunday, which was also his birthday. When NDRF and Thane Disaster Relief Force personnel extracted Pisal from the rubble around 8am, he was conscious and thanked them with folded hands for giving him a second life. His relatives and friends cheered on as he was taken to hospital.
