The Eknath Shinde-Devendra Fadnavis government on Friday ordered an inquiry by the state intelligence department (SID) into allegations that MVA CM Uddhav Thackeray had tried to suppress the Umesh Kolhe murder case in Amravati. This is the third inquiry/probe ordered against the Thackerays by the government.
