The Eknath Shinde faction has filed an application before the Election Commission (EC) saying Shiv Sena’s bow and arrow symbol may be “misused” by the Uddhav Thackeray group and requested EC to take an immediate decision on the symbol issue in view of the November 3 Andheri (East) assembly byelection.
